THE DAILY WRAP

There really is no such thing as owning too many coats when you have to wear one with EVERY outfit.  Planning what to wear becomes a little pointless at this time of year as whatever you put on you cover it all up.

A great coat can make you feel chic and in control whilst you are out fighting the elements.  This monochrome beauty looks as good with a leather skirt and heels as with jeans and it's currently under £35.  I've already got my eye on a few more winter outerwear options including this awesome white teddy bear coat and red puffer below.  If you're not currently obsessed with SHEIN then you're missing out!  Hop over and take a look here and let me know which are your favourite pieces.

PEARL POWER

There was a time when my string of treasured Tiffany pearls was always around my neck.  Before that it was a vintage hand-me-down of some good fakes or my mothers pearl stud earrings.  I loved the glow they gave my skin and luxurious feel they gave any outfit.  However a decade passed where they felt a little dated.

A few years ago I found and fell in love with Australian jewellery designer Amber Sceats (ambersceats.com) and found my collection building due to her quirky, dreamy designs.  This season the Pearl is back.  BIG TIME. It suddenly feels cool and fresh again and I am jumping on that bandwagon.  Here are my favourite pearly pieces on the High St right now.

BABY BEAUTIFUL

This won't be my last article on baby beauty products I'm sure.  When you spend your time caring for someone with such delicate skin you really want the best for them.

There are so many unique brands out there and selecting the right lotions and potions can be a complete minefield.  I tend to steer towards natural and organic products and after coming across the dreamy website Naturisimo I felt like I had struck Gold.  I was hunting for a yummy baby oil that wasn't by that well known brand and would be gentle on Camille's skin and storksak organics looked perfect.  I ordered their oil and a baby wash which turned up quickly and were in pretty packaging which is always a bonus.  The products are 99% natural and very gentle - ideal for new baby skin.  Both items have a delicious light scent of pear and camomile which is a nice change from the usual unscented products I've been using. The baby oil is also brilliant on my skin and I slather myself in it when I'm freshly out of the shower. Anything that is quick, effective and works for both of us is a winner in my eyes!

WHAT'S IN MY BABY BAG? (AND OTHER EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS)

Pregnancy calls for comfort and elegance so classic jersey dresses are an easy go-to.  It's now eight weeks since Camille arrived I am still wearing the majority of my flexible pregnancy wardrobe.  One great find was Australian maternity brand Queen Bee who's online boutique holds over 60 labels and is filled with great styles and super-soft fabrics.  Their range of dresses are well designed so they work with or without a bump and many even cater for feeding with clever hidden flaps and necklines.

It's not just jersey dresses I cannot live without at the moment.  I have become obsessed with a selection of products that I would recommend to everyone to make a baby bag a little more luxurious.    Check out my go-to post baby buys below and let me know if you have any others you would add to the list.

Make getting dressed easy with Queen Bee's day dresses - browse here

Keep cool and hydrated on the go with a facial spray such as Caudalie's Beauty Elixir

When having time to apply make-up is a thing of the past stock up on Kiko's glossy coloured lip balms

Sister & Co's natural coconut oil is a dream on dry skin for you and baby. I always have a tub in my baby bag.

IT'S SPRING BABY

Some of my favourite maternity pieces are still on repeat weeks after giving birth and will continue to be for the rest of the summer.  Australian brand Legoe is know for its high end, luxurious staples that feel as great as they look.  This organic cotton striped dress is perfect for trans-seasonal dressing when Spring has not yet become summer.  It is so well designed with a great cut and minimal seams to ensure pure comfort.  As the weather picks up I will be pairing with some sandals and a large straw tote for a summer in Normandy.  Until then I am hanging out in the countryside surrounded by these seriously cute baby animals!

LUXURY TIME SAVING

Where did all my spare time go?

Everybody warns you but I didn't realise that I would actually have NO TIME AT ALL. I'm up all night and then feeding and changing until around 11am when baby will hopefully drift off to sleep for a few hours so that I can charge around the house power-jobbing like a crazy person.

Don't get me wrong, Camille is now three weeks old and completely adorable.  I have just become rather obsessed with anything that saves time.  Even if it's just a few minutes.  Multi-purpose beauty products are my go-to and raw coconut oil brand Sister & Co have a few items that never leave my changing bag or handbag.  Baby or no baby these essentials are definitely worth checking out.

The Sister & Co Dream Cream is the most versatile beauty product I have come across.  This divine coconut oil based cream smells luxurious and can be used for mother or baby as a lip balm, moisturiser, hand cream, nappy cream or for any dry areas.  It is brilliant to have just one perfect pot that can be thrown into your handbag.  The soft buttery contents smooths on like a gentle oil before soaking in completely.  The pure coconut oil and rose lip balm are also huge favourites of mine and hardly leave my side.

If you haven't already then check out Sister & Co's beautiful website and shop my favourites below.

THE SCENT OF SPRING

Doesn't a bright day just change your mood?  I always feel like I can achieve anything when the sun's out.  The Spring weather is still pretty mixed here but the odd warm afternoon with blue skies reassures that Summer is not that far away.

Spring weather brings with it those wonderful scents that just ooze excitement.  Whether it's cut grass, salty warm sea or Cherry Blossom the smells of spring bring the promise of an enticing year ahead.

I have fallen rather in love with another scent that landed on my doorstep this week.  Coach are launching there Coach Eau de Toilette in May which is inspired by the spontaneous energy and downtown style of New York.  This fresh scent is filled with pear and white Alba roses.  Lasting all day it puts a wonderful spring in your step whether you're racing around the city or relaxing in the countryside.

I am a huge, huge fan of Coach's current Eau de Parfum fragrance which is again light and perfect for Spring.  It is filled with the scent of bright, sparkling raspberry and Turkish roses.  This Springtime why not give flowers or chocolates a miss and pick up this beauty for Mother's Day on Sunday?  I cannot think of anything I would rather receive and visits home will mean you can steal a spritz or two until the favour is returned or you cave and treat yourself too.  It will bring joy all Summer long.

THE ONLY JACKET YOU'LL NEED THIS SPRING

It's official, Spring is here and I am so glad to see the back of those long dark nights.  This weekend I packed up my heavy coats and stored them away for the foreseeable future.  Granted, the weather is not quite reliable enough to go layer free, but I am definitely ready to embrace the lighter weight jacket.

This Spring I am lusting after safari sands and military greens worn with cream, white and black.  This colour palette seems the perfect move on for the monochrome lover to branch out to.  Cuts are shrunken or oversized, waists are cinched and texture is key.

My new obsession that I cannot leave the house without is this drawstring canvas jacket from dreamy online site ROMWE.  I'm rolling the sleeves and keeping it open due to my 38 week bump however I cannot wait to style it with a silky slip dress or faded band tee in a few weeks time.  If you haven't been on romwe.com hop over and take a look as it is filled with incredible fashion additions for Spring.  Also shop this perfect camo cover-up below for just £17.19 in the sale! Whoop!

PURE BEAUTY

The long awaited Beauty & the Beast movie has officially launched and I cannot wait to see the gorgeous Emma Watson giving new life to one of my childhood favourites.   In line with the launch beauty connoisseurs Latest in Beauty have launched a fabulous one off, limited edition beauty box filled with divine products!

There are actually two boxes - one for beauty one for beast - both of which come in stunning book styled boxes.  The ladies 'beauty' box contains several products that I have been wanting to try for some time and they don't disappoint.  The box costs just £20 and with a contents worth over £80 it is going to fly!

Some of my favourite items include Parisian classic Gatineau's Radiance Enhancing Gommage which I have very quickly become obsessed with.  This unique exfoliator transforms from a luxurious balm to a hydrating oil buffing away the top layer of the skin, clearing pores and refining skins texture to leave it hydrated and glowing.

Another product I cannot get enough of it the Burts Bees lipstick which is so moisturising you forget you're wearing it.  Packed with Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil and Vitamin E it gives a beautiful satin finish.

The Beauty Box also includes Soigne nail polish, L'Occitaine hand cream, Oribe dry shampoo, Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet (AMAZING!) and a beautiful rose compact mirror.  Why not treat yourself to this little haul before it disappears?
