Summer fashion for me is all about having fun with colour and print with easy to throw on pieces. I never want to spend a fortune on them, probably because I want to buy so many more than at other times of year. This summer I am loving the sports lux feel of black trims and graffiti prints along with easy to wear oversized tees. Check out these super affordable gorgeous pieces from fashion site She Inside - sheinside.com. Just add a pair of white trainers or sliders and you are good to go.

WEAR IT THE WANG WAY
I just cant get enough of these Alexander Wang grey suede mules. I picked them up a few years ago and they mainly sat on a shelf looking pretty until this summer when I have worn them to death. I am actually afraid to wear them too much for fear of killing them. The mirror heel and high cut make them perfect with everything from boyfriend jeans to a little black dress. There are so many great mules around at the moment. Check out my favourites below.

NEXT Time
It is well and truly press day season and I promise I will try to post something other than rails of clothes this week - even if they are lovely cosy Autumn clothes. Next were full of surprises at their exquisite London Autumn Winter press day under the arches on the Embankment. The collection had vintage inspired elements with lace dresses styled with pointy ankle boots and fur collars in contrasting pastels. Classic lace up brogues came in an array of colours and textures with matching ladylike mini bags. The strongest element were the easy to wear dresses in skater and pencil styles that would take you through from work to weekend. A lovely season from Next making them a firm High Street favourite.

New Look Autumn Winter Press Day
Just a few pictures of the fun, beautiful collection that New Look have ready to launch for Autumn. Pastel fur, silver heels and sequins worn for day and night with amazing pieces that look far beyond their High St price tag. A lovely press day and I can't wait to hit the shops magpie style!

New Look Summer
Imagine if London was always 27 degrees. Imagine the parks, the sangria, the outfits and the tans. Today it was that London. Lets hope the uncertain forcast is wrong and a long London summer is here to stay.
Today I got up in the sunshine and threw on my new leather nude chloe inspired wedges, a silk camisole and printed cover up. Days don't get better than summer days.

Kate Spade
The weather may be miserable and I may have returned to opaque tights but one thing you can wear is a gorgeous summer bag. This little Kate Spade tote made its way into my life last week and not a minute too soon. Forecast for this week... grey, grey, grey - with a hint of tropical orange.

boohoo press day
Last week I went along to the Boohoo Autumn Winter press show to take a look at their new collections. The weather was very Autumnal and not great for May although did get us in the mood for coats and lots of layering. The nude and pastel looks were filled with sequins and logos with a sports edge throughout. The heels were still chunky and styled with racing back mini dresses and faux fur coats. Layers were pushed to their limit with dresses styled over long skirts and long silky almost-trench coats in pastels and pinstripes. Overall there was a fun edge mixing prints and textures.

Benefit gimme Brow gives me mega brows
Cara has a lot to answer for. I think a lot of us have regrets about the 90s and how 'All Saints' and the 'Spice Girls' convinced us to pluck out most of out pre-teen bushy brows. I am one of those people. I try to blame my mother regularly, however she reminds me that there was little she could do to stop me locking myself away with my glittery tweezers whist blaring out 'Wannabe'. Guess what? Eyebrows don't grow back. Well not properly anyway.
After a decade of willing my brows to grow and very, very little plucking they are almost back to how they once were. There is a little product that helps them to look even fuller and bushier. Benefit gimme brow has a teenie tiny mascara brush and is filled with buildable mirco fibers to give eyebrows body and texture. It comes in two shades and it super easy to use. £17.50 is a small price to pay to go back in time - on the brow front anyway.

Is it just me or does the world phase in colours. Only a few weeks ago there was yellow EVERYWHERE and then pink and now this... dreamy blues. In a lightweight loose fit with a collar and asymmetric zip down the front it is perfect for lazy summer days. Bank holiday weekends are for picnics and sunshine and hanging around in forget-me-nots and bluebells. In Love With Fashion only produce small quantities of their collections so pick this little dress up today.
Dr Lewinn's Radiance Booster for bright, fresh skin
Shh, don't share my little secret with too many people. Thursday and Friday are not good skin days and my face starts to look as tired as I feel. This Radiance Booster from Dr Lewinn's does exactly what it says on the tin - a good boost! Use after moisturiser for a fresh glow before applying your make-up and as an extra kick use a coin sized amount on clean, moisturised skin at night. This cream gives your complexion the look and feel of 8 hours of sleep and 8 glasses of water. Now what can be bad about that?

Steam Cream I won't forget you
Steam Cream moisturiser has become a bit of a cult classic, however one that I had never got involved in. I think the beautiful packaging made me feel it was maybe a bit of a gimmick and would lead to disappointment in the long run. How wrong can you be?
So decision one is to pic your tin, and that is no easy job. Floral, vintage, geometric, collaborations - Steam cream has them all. I was lucky enough to avoid this traumatising task by being sent one to try. This stunning blue chrysanthemum tin was designed by Japanese artist Maki Kahori and sits as well on my dressing table as it does in my forget-me-nots.
The cream itself is an absolute delight to use. The super light texture is achieved by fusing the natural ingredients together with a shot of steam (hence 'steam cream'). The product is handmade and contains camomile blue which lightens and brightens the skin gently. It smells divine and I just can't quite work out how I survived without it.
The cream is not only great for soothing and reviving a tired complexion but also great for body and hands. Treat yourself to this little tin of happiness, I promise you won't regret this one!
