It's not just a beauty event...

I was recently invited along to the press launch for the delicious new M&S beauty department that has launched in some of the larger stores. I was impressed! Firstly the event was beautiful. We sipped champagne and ate miniature cakes while browsing and testing the huge selection of products. Brands such as Ren, Kingsley and Skyn were displayed on podiums of gold surrounded by beautiful spring bulbs. We made our own perfumes using different scents at the testing bar, and had a hand massage using some if the M&S spa treatments. It was perfect.

The week after I visited the M&S store by Moorgate station. The beauty department was exactly how it should be. Luxury and crisp, the clean white fixtures were filled with fantastic brands of all price ranges. I will be shopping in this candy store for product lovers from now on.

I am testing a few of the M&S brands products at the moment and will give you an update on them shortly. Until then check out an M&S beauty department today or visit www.marksandspencer.com.

Be my boy

These are the perfect boyfit jeans.  Super soft, slightly shredded, wide but not drowning, in a light wash. I will be pairing mine in this cold not-yet-spring weather in a sports inspired way, with Aldo black wedge trainers, a fitted black and white vest and bomber jacket.  As soon as the sun makes an appearance they will be paired with white Kurt Geiger court shoes and pastel printed tee.  The ultimate Spring staple, pick yours up now in H&M for only £29.99.  Love xx

Serving olives

Wonder no more. The ever-so-classic Ralph Lauren home collection got some edge. From now on I will be serving all canapés on silver skull sticks and poring my G&T from a skull decanter - too Perfect.

Last night at the Ralph Lauren press event to showcase their home ware range I was thrilled to not only see the preppy initialed robes and striped duvets, but exciting oversized posters, huge lamps in chunky black metal and the perfect skull tableware. Unusual for Ralph, but still very much their customer, the casual lounge filled was filled with fashion books and editorials rather than poetry and flora. The bedcovers were thrown on, with minimum pillow-age. I loved the fabulous decor almost as much as the canapés and champagne that were served. I am still very much in the middle of my interiors for my recently renovated house and can't wait to shop these pieces.

Lovely event, thanks Ralph xx

Running around the city

So sorry for the delay on posts recently, I have been crazy busy.  No excuse.  It is currently deep snow where I am, again.  This outfit was another from London Fashion Week when the sun decided to come out.  I am very much missing the sun right now.  My coat is vintage, I think it's goat.  Very warm.  I am loving the Yellow scarf at the moment too.  I am always carrying around so much and this day was no exception - Bag lady.
